The recent Go Fund Me campaign has been incredible, with so much support from the community & in kind donations. This has helped Henry receive new treatments to help pay bills/invoices for treatments.
Henry has completed his first cycle of 3 infusions of the drug Bevacizumab, and MRI scan was completed on 15th March and his consultant called to state that he was surprised and happy that it revealed a positive response after the first cycle. The cyst surrounding the tumour have reduced whilst the tumour is unchanged this is a good response as it is not usually seen, the MRI result is stable. He will send a quote for the next cycle that will start approximately 5th April 2021.
Henry will start the Dendritic Cell Therapy with the first injection on 20/03/2021, the nurses came to the house to take Henry’s bloods and they were couriered to Germany for the vaccine to be produced. We are hoping that throwing everything at his disease then we will start to see some improvement and changes, nothing is guaranteed but we hope and pray an good response to these treatments.
Henry has been very poorly and unwell with lots of side effects from the steriods and the treatments. We are hoping this is short term and we see an improvement in his health shortly, we continue to improve his immune system through diets and supplements.
All treatment costs have been raised from the Go Fund Me campaign. We thank all family, friends, local businesses who made donations and held fundraising events all around the world, in support for Henry. Below are receipts from costs for treatments outside the NHS.
Total expenditure costs is £56,143.53
